<< Five years after starting our professional career, we have decided to take off our suits, ties and leather shoes, and bury them deep into our wardrobe... leave the urban jungle behind and throw ourselves onto the roads of the world.

Our website will make you travel with us. You will find photos, videos, and stories of our adventures, as well as more details on our volunteering projects.

You will also be able to react to our stories and leave us some messages in our Wall >>

Last update on 23 January 2010

Discover this week an introduction to our new 2010 adventure: sailing across the Pacific from Panama to Australia.
Straight after a warm and merry Xmas spent in family near Cancun, Mexico, we have begun our new adventure that will take us into more than half of 2010: Sailing across the Pacific, on a 14 meters long boat from Panama to Australia.

On January 5th 2010 we met our skipper for the first time, in a small marina located on the Atlantic coast in Panama. Jacques, the skipper, is French and is what we can call a real sailor: he worked for more than 30 years on the sea and has built his own boat: the TIN HAO. We met Jacques through a specialised website on the net, and have been chatting with him for 6 months regarding this big adventure. With Jacques and his wife, we will cross the Pacific and share a very deep experience, on board and onto the islands of the Pacific.

Our itinerary is the following (from Jan 2010 to July/August 2010): Panama canal – Galapagos Islands (Ecuador) – Marquises Islands – Tuamotu – Tahiti – Tonga – Fidji – and New Caledonia , where we will disembark and readapt to the other world. The sail between the Galapagos and the Marquises will last approx 25 days, with no earth at view at all.

The next stage will be to find jobs in Oz and settled down for a while.

We will update our website ONLY on the French version www.loladel.com, but do not hesitate to regularly check our pictures and / or practice your French!!!!! Also do not forget that we have a Wall section (Livre d’Or) on which you can leave us some messages!

Take care all and all the best!!

'Our beloved Havana', IN ENGLISH!!

* We spent 6 full weeks in this amazing country of Mexico, but we could have spent 20!! We were truly impressed by Mexico City, vibrant, modern and the 2nd largest city in the world! We loved to visit the Aztec and Maya sites and museums, as well as tanning on the beach or scuba dicing of the Caribbean coast. What a treat!!

* During the whole month of August, we explored the fascinating island of Cuba. Immerged among its people, we learned to live the Cuban way. We ate in the streets, like them, we transported ourselves hitchiking and at the back of the trucks, as they do, and we were deprived of all freedom and contact to the outside, lime them. Now out of the island, we are launching our Cuban file, a series of articles and pictures that will allow you to explore the depths of this complex but very interesting society.

We have written a lot about our experices in Cuba. Most articles are in French but we have now taken the time to translate some of them (the best of course!!). Welcome to the Cuban world and enjoy the reading!! Please do not hesitate to react on our Wall / Livre d'Or...
